Julie Bligh is a solicitor with over 20 years’ experience. Her focus is on Family Law and Injury Compensation.

Julie has held various roles in the Legal Profession, including:

  • President, Townsville District Law Association;
  • Queensland Law Society Personal Injuries Specialist Accreditation Advisory Committee;
  • Queensland Law Society Practice Management Court Advisory Committee;
  • Australian Lawyers Alliance Queensland State Committee;
  • Associate Lecturer in Law at James Cook University for 6 years, part-time.


Family Law:

  • Property settlements including complex arrangements of Companies and Trusts;
  • Parenting orders;
  • Hague Convention Applications and Child Abduction;
  • Relocation Applications;
  • Related issues such as Company and Partnership Law, Taxation Law and Forensic Accounting.

Injury/Insurance Claims:

  • Assisting clients in a range of injury claims including for accidents at work and car accidents;
