William holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from James Cook University.

William practices in planning and environment law, local government law and the laws relating to property development.

William acts for property developers, local governments and third party submitters, providing advice on a wide range of matters including the conduct of litigation in the Planning & Environment Court.  William also has experience appearing in Native Title matters before the Federal Court.

In addition to litigious matters, William can also assist property developers with:

  • Compliance with specific legislation such as the Property Occupations Act and the Land Sales Act;
  • Drafting complex easement or covenant documents; and
  • Community titles issues and drafting development specific “off the plan” contracts and special conditions.
