More Information
Callum is a highly regarded and experienced family and divorce lawyer who has spent the past decade providing structure and peace of mind to couples navigating separation and family issues.
Callum primarily assists married and de-facto couples and families with the separation of their property assets – helping them appropriately divide and transfer a variety of items including real estate, business interests, companies, trust structures, shares and other investments, vehicles, superannuation and artwork.
He regularly advises on parental orders, divorce, and child support arrangements, and is experienced advising on domestic and family violence matters. He represents clients at all stages of a family law matter – from negotiations and mediations, through to Court proceedings and instructing Counsel at Final Hearings.
A problem solver by nature, Callum enjoys the challenge of distilling complex property interests and vast amounts of information into a structured solution. He is very experienced with advising on mid and large asset pools and has assisted many families with established businesses and generational wealth.
Callum’s clients appreciate his professionalism and discretion, as well as his ability to understand both the commercial and emotional drivers of a situation.
Well-connected within the Townsville community, Callum’s network includes multiple advisors relevant to his clients – enabling him to both understand relevant commercial, financial or psychological terminology but also make recommendations for support where applicable to his clients.
He has been recognised by Doyle’s Guide in the categories of Family Law Rising Star – Queensland (2022) and Leading Family & Divorce Lawyers – North & Central Queensland (2023).
