More Information
Peter is a highly skilled and experienced commercial law Partner who has helped high profile business owners and individuals achieve their commercial goals for more than 30 years.
Specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, share sale agreements, and asset purchase/sale agreements – Peter is trusted by CEOs, directors, board chairs and business owners to advise on some of the most significant commercial and property decisions in Queensland.
Based in Townsville, Peter’s practice extends to Cairns, Rockhampton and Mt Isa. He is also experienced preparing commercial agreements for international parties, including those residing in the United States of America, Papua New Guinea and South Africa.
Peter has advised on matters across a broad range of businesses – from medical and dental, through to trades and equipment hire. He has specialist agricultural and rural industry knowledge having advised many clients in this space including poultry farmers, graziers (both sheep and cattle) and sugar cane farmers.
Clients appreciate Peter’s responsiveness, forward-thinking approach and his ability to identify and reduce future risks/exposures. His considered yet proactive approach enables him to drive transactions, working together with his clients, their accountants and other parties to move things forward.
Peter has always had a personal interest in business and commerce – he enjoys building connections with other business professionals and being involved in not-for-profit organisations. He attributes his network to his early engagement with the Townsville Chamber of Commerce (of which he is now a Life Member) and to the firm’s longstanding presence in the Townsville community.
