Renee is one of Queensland’s leading succession lawyers. Dedicated and highly motivated, she is well known and respected in the legal industry and by her clients for her specialist expertise and commitment to excellence.
With over 20 years experience and achieving a Specialist Accreditation in Succession Law with the Queensland Law Society, Renee has both the expertise and experience to manage the most complex of wills and estate matters – including estate planning, estate administration, trust and estate litigation and guardianship matters.
Renee helps individuals, families, businesses and corporations with all aspects of personal and business succession planning and estate litigation. She is also regularly appointed by parties and by the Court as an independent administrator and/or trustee in contentious estates and trust disputes.
Clients appreciate Renee’s specialist expertise, expert negotiation and ability to produce practical and workable results. She is known for her ability to dissect highly complex situations and convert them into clear outcomes-focused strategies, whilst balancing her client’s emotional drivers with the Court’s objectives.
Renee is committed to investing in her profession. She regularly presents on succession law topics at legal and accounting conferences and is an Adjunct Lecturer with the College of Law’s Masters of Law - Applied Law program. She previously held the position of Chair of the Queensland Law Society’s Succession Law Specialist Accreditation Committee and has served on the Board of NDIS service provider Cootharinga North Queensland. She was also a committee member of STEP Queensland for more than a decade.
Renee is an active member of the Townsville business community and is a current board member of the Good Shepard Home Townsville. She is also a past President of the Townsville Business Women’s Circle, which she remains actively involved in. She regularly attends charity events and enjoys contributing her expertise through pro-bono activity.
