William is a property development and litigation Partner, with a decade of experience in property development, planning and environmental law and complex litigation.
He advises on a broad range of property related matters – from registering survey plans and drafting easement documents, through to negotiating infrastructure agreements and the conduct of appeals the Planning & Environment Court.
He acts for property developers, local governments and third-party submitters, and regularly represents his clients in specialist Courts throughout Queensland – from the Land Court and Planning & Environment Court, through to the High Court of Australia.
William enjoys providing his clients with a personalised one-on-one level of service. He is a natural problem solver and enjoys the diversity of his work, including engaging with different stakeholders to understand the origins of an issue. He is recognised by his clients for his thoroughness, responsiveness and his ability to clearly outline the likely outcomes of a situation. William contributes to the property development industry in his role as committee member of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (Townsville branch) where he assists in the representation of property development issues at local and state government levels.
More broadly, William has a dispute resolution practise with a particular focus on property-based litigation. William can also assist clients with debt recovery matters, shareholder/partnership disputes and causes of action in defamation.
